Charity Sales for Gaza

Charity Sales for GAZA was the very first major activity by the club.
This sales was conducted to raise funds for the unfortunate people but our major aim was to raise funds for the Palestinians.
Money raised from this sales will be 100-percently donated to Brunei charitable organizations (such as SMARTER) and definitely to Palestin.
The sales went on for FIVE WEEKS and the last one was last Thursday (26 Feb 2009).

Things that were sold during the sales were mostly

  • food
  • desserts
  • stationeries
  • key-chains
  • notebook
  • etc.
A very big CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MEMBERS for making the sales a success although we had to come through some problems.

A very big THANK YOU TO KIND BUYERS/DONATERS for actually buying our 'stuffs' for the last FIVE WEEKS!!!

*A round of applause to everyone.*

First week

on the very first week of CCA or the very first meet of Social Studies Club members, we, the members, were briefed about this club by the teachers in-charge.

First activity of the club was to find ideas on what activities/projects that were supposed to be conducted by the club throughout the year.

therefore we were assigned to groups and each group must came up with interesting activities/projects apart from visits. we were also asked to make proposals regarding that.

One of the project was the invention of this blog which on this blog, we will post:
-weekly report on activities for every CCA period
-intersting articles
-pictures
-reports on major projects conducted by this club
-etc.

other agenda on the very first meet of the club was to find ideas on how to contribute to Palestin and help the unfortunate Palestinians. we came up with Charity Sales. therefore we also had to find intersting ideas on how to make the sales a success. the sales started the following week which was on the second week of CCA.
